Vescuntur piscibus, tum ipsi, tum eorum pecora, et aquas fluviales ac fossiles potant. Pecorum carnes piscibus praebent, domicilia ex ossibus cetorum, et ostreorum conchis frciunt. Trabium et fulcrorum usum costae praebent, portas maxillae: e vertebris fiunt mortaria, in quibus pisces subiguntur, et

Arabiae populos. quod si verum st, quosdam eorum etiam in illa parte fuisse censendum est, quâ Indus fluv. in mare evolvitur. Unde erroris ansa P. Melae, qui Insulam Solis, quae in ichthyophagorum Carmaniae vicinorum sinu iacet, contra Indi ostia metatur.
